Nanoscale and quantum-limited carrier transport in condensed matter, with a primary focus on electron
and phonon dynamics in low-dimensional structures, (speci cally) inorganic nanowires, thin lms, and
carbon-based nanostructures; the fabrication, design, and control of nanoscale electromechanical systems
(NEMS); heat and charge transport across heterostructured interfaces; nite element analysis and
multiphysics simulations.
