We present below a database of multiband 3D Fermi surfaces (along kx, ky, and kz) for various compounds. This database is sorted by element and currently includes all bulk elemental Fermi surfaces (if available in the system) and numerous binary compounds. Our goal is provide guidance in a search for new and exciting materials through the data mining of known compounds with multi-band and multi-dimensional Fermi surfaces. We expect that this and similar databasescombined with sophisticated search techniques will be on the forefront the Materials Gnome Initiative. In the future, we will be adding compounds consisting of three, four, or more elements.
Simply click on an element and the bulk and compound materials will appear in the left frame. Choose the material you would like view and the various band will be listedbelow. You can examine still images or an animation of the Fermi surfaces. You may download the data from the compressed raw data file. If you would like to view the animations in stereo 3D, then you can choose red-blue, interlaced, or checkerboard formats. If this data is used for research or commercial purposes, please use the reference the proper materials under citations.
