Two-Dimensional Nanomaterials Stacking
Fabricate heterostructures composed of two-dimensional materials and freestanding membranes with controls of translational and rotational movements in high resolutions.
The capability enables the fabrication of emerging phenomena for twistronics and many-body physics in incommensurate heterostructures.
Capabilities include:
Manipulation of nanomaterials in Ar-filled glovebox.
User friendly interface (computerized control with a Xbox game pad).
XY-stage with 1 micrometer resolution and 50 mm moving range.
Z-axis control with 10 nm resolution.
Rotational stage with 0.01° resolution.
Heating stage up to 180 oC.
Reflection mode optical microscope with the objectives of 5x, 10x, 20x, and 50x.
Two CCD cameras to monitor the substrate and the sample for transfer/stacking.
