Helping you understand, create, and characterize nanomaterials
Two-dimensional Nanomaterials Stacking
Fabricate heterostructures composed of two-dimensional materials and freestanding membranes with controls of translational and rotational movements in high resolutions
The capability enables the fabrication of emerging phenomena for twistronics and many-body physics in incommensurate heterostructures.
Capabilities include:
Manipulation of nanomaterials in Ar-filled glovebox.
User friendly interface (computerized control with a Xbox game pad).
XY-stage with 1 micrometer resolution and 50 mm moving range.
Z-axis control with 10 nm resolution.
Rotational stage with 0.01° resolution.
Heating stage up to 180oC.
Reflection mode optical microscope with the objectives of 5x, 10x, 20x, and 50x.
Two CCD cameras to monitor the substrate and the sample for transfer/stacking.
