The JEOL JSM-IT500HR/LA is a Thermal Schottky Field Emission high-brightness electron gun system delivering high-resolution performance and is equipped with a variable pressure mode (10 to 150PA) for dealing with nonconductive samples and beam sensitive samples. The system has a large analytical chamber with multiple ports to accommodate a variety of detectors for imaging and analysis.

• Low vacuum secondary electron detector (LSED) and backscatter (BSED) electron detectors
• Energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS)
