It is a unique platform that supports as many as four probes operating simultaneously and independently, with each probe having its own feedback and scanning capabilities.
Capabilities include:
- Multiprobe Characteristics: Probes can be brought into contact with one another, allowing simultaneous functional modes of SPM.
- Full SPM-optical integration: Unique integration of multiple probes with an upright dual microscope.
- Fountain Pen NanoLithography (FPN): Direct chemical writing and lithography with pure liquids, polymers, solutions, suspensions, etc., or gasses, with nano and atomic precision. Probe tip can be viewed during writing process and the written “object” immediately interrogated with optical spectroscopies or multi-mode optical imaging.
- Multiprobe chemical nanolithography with in-line spectroscopy and piconewton SPM Functionality
- Accelerate nanoscale materials design and discovery by combining nanofabrication with an ability to observe results of In-Situ fabrication or growth in real time by combining chemical nanolithography with in-line multimodal characterization, including confocal Raman micro-spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy, AFM, NSOM, Kelvin probe measurements.
- Compatible with soft matter, but applicable to creating and interrogating hybrid materials comprising soft and hard combinations and interfaces. It addresses a gap in the chain of analytics and synthesis/integration/assembly.
