Abul Azad — CINT Gateway

Contact

Abul Azad is a scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory and leads CINT’s Laboratory for Ultrafast Materials and Optical Science (LUMOS). Azad conducts research at the intersection of electromagnetic materials, metamaterials, and ultrafast optical science. Azad's work focuses on engineering light-matter interactions across a wide spectral range, from microwave and terahertz to infrared and extreme ultraviolet, using artificially structured materials and metasurfaces. His research has contributed to advances in nonreciprocal photonics, spatiotemporal metasurfaces, and ultrafast spectroscopy, with applications in next-generation sensing, imaging, and electromagnetic wave control.
