Kyungtae Kim is a Polymer/Soft Nanomaterials Scientist Los Alamos National Laboratory with a background in physics, quantitative analysis and characterization, and processing of functional polymers, block copolymers, and polyolefins. At CINT, he processes, advances, and manufactures soft/hybrid nanomaterials for national security applications. His research interests include precision synthesis of soft nano/microparticles made of polymers and organic materials; self-assembly of soft particles into complex ordered structures that resemble metal alloy phases; and fabrication of soft nanomaterials with large-scale ordering and controlled defects.
