Priscila Rosa is a Staff Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Her main research interest is the design, synthesis, characterization, and predictive understanding of strongly correlated quantum materials, which often host emergent phenomena that both defy current understanding and hold the promise to solve national energy challenges. Examples include unconventional superconductivity, geometric or magnetic frustration, and non-trivial topology. Priscila's research also includes the application of extreme conditions (high pressures, high magnetic fields, and low temperatures) to tune novel or puzzling materials towards desired functionality.
