Jinkyoung Yoo is a Staff Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory and currently serves as the CINT Thrust Co-Leader for Quantum Materials Systems. His research portfolio consists of quantum materials architectures composed of low dimensional nanomaterials (two-dimensional materials, semiconductor nanowire heterostructures, crystalline thin films) and nanofabrication to demonstrate electronic/photonic/energy storage device applications. Key areas of Jinkyoung's research include synthesis and fabrication of hybrid architectures composed of multi-dimensional semiconductor nanomaterials, especially Si/Ge nanowire heterostructures and 2D/3D heterostructures. Jinkyoung is also actively working on nanoelectronic/optoelectronic devices to study quantum materials and quantum information system.
